Fortnite Welcomes the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Get ready, loopers! Epic Games is set to launch Chapter 6 Season 4 of Fortnite tomorrow, and they’ve dropped a nostalgic bomb with a new trailer confirming a major collaboration: the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are joining the island’s chaotic battles. The teaser trailer alone is enough to send a surge of “old school” energy through long-time fans.
The upcoming season, officially titled “Boiling Point,” will see players facing off against swarms of menacing insects. As the video’s description ominously warns, “Bugs running rampant on the island? Sounds like a job for the Mighty Rangers!” This sets the stage for a grand crossover, promising action-packed encounters against the new creepy-crawly threat.
Fans eager to morph into action won't have to wait long. A “Mighty Morphin” bundle is slated to arrive in the item shop by mid-August. This comprehensive pack will include iconic outfits for the Red, Black, Pink, Yellow, and Blue Rangers. Beyond the character skins, the bundle will also feature a collection of themed accessories, including the energizing “Go Go Power Rangers – Redux” jam track to get you into the fight.
The Power Rangers content doesn't stop there. Starting September 16th, dedicated players who progress through the Battle Pass will have the opportunity to unlock the impressive Dino Megazord outfit by completing specific in-game challenges. This adds another layer of classic Power Rangers lore for players to enjoy.
The Power Rangers are not the only legendary heroes making an appearance. Epic Games previously confirmed that Spartans from the Halo series would also join the fray in Chapter 6 Season 4, further diversifying the roster of allies ready to take on the insect invasion. This new season is shaping up to be a massive crossover event, bringing together beloved characters from various universes to battle the latest threat on the Fortnite island.
