Stellar Blade Gets New Epilogues and PC Enhancements in Latest Update
Gamers diving back into the world of Stellar Blade have a fresh reason to continue their journey. Developer Shift Up has rolled out a new update, patch 1.4.1, which introduces significant new content in the form of three additional epilogues, expanding on the game's conclusions.
These newly added epilogues are designed to provide further insight into the fates of protagonist Eve and the other inhabitants of Xion. Each of the game’s multiple endings now receives a dedicated epilogue, offering players more closure and context after completing their playthroughs.
Beyond the narrative additions, the update also includes several improvements tailored specifically for the PC version of Stellar Blade. For instance, players utilizing the photo mode via the Odyssey 3D Hub will now find their screenshots conveniently saved in a dedicated 'Screenshots' folder within the game's directory. This small but welcome change streamlines the process for content creators and photo mode enthusiasts.
As is common with such updates, Patch 1.4.1 also addresses various minor bug fixes, including some specific quest-related issues, ensuring a smoother overall gameplay experience for all players.
Stellar Blade is currently available on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5, complete with Russian text localization. The addition of these epilogues means players have compelling reasons to revisit the game and explore all its narrative branches. With Shift Up already confirming work on a sequel, planned for release by 2027, this update serves as a nice continuation of their commitment to the Stellar Blade universe, keeping the community engaged as they await future installments.
