Bandai Namco Reveals New Story Trailer for Upcoming Action-Roguelike

Just one week before its official release, Bandai Namco has offered players a deeper look into the world of Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree with a brand-new story trailer. This vibrant action-roguelike, developed by Brownies, was first announced a few months ago during Summer Game Fest and is now gearing up for its global launch.

The game introduces players to the journey of Towa, a priestess who teams up with eight unique guardians. Together, their mission is to protect the sacred tree from encroaching evil forces. Each of Towa's companions brings their own distinct weapon and set of skills to the fight, designed to work in powerful synergy with Towa's own abilities, offering diverse combat strategies.

As players progress, they will explore a variety of locations, battle hordes of monsters, and work to improve the protagonist's home village. This involves gathering essential resources and constructing useful buildings, adding a strategic layer to the action-packed gameplay. The blend of exploration, combat, and base-building promises a comprehensive and engaging experience.

Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree is set to release on September 19. It will be available across multiple platforms, including PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. For those eager to try it out before launch, a demo version is currently available on the Valve store. This title will not include Russian localization.

The release of this new story trailer gives fans a better understanding of the game's narrative and what to expect from Towa's grand adventure. With its unique blend of action, roguelike elements, and a charming art style, Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree looks to be an exciting addition for players seeking a vibrant new challenge this autumn.
