Bloodlines 2 Gets Official Release Date and New Details
Paradox Interactive, White Wolf, and developer The Chinese Room have officially confirmed the release date for
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 at the gamescom opening night ceremony. The game will launch on October 21, lining up with an earlier leak from the start of the month. Alongside a new trailer, details about digital editions were also revealed.
Journey into Nocturnal Seattle
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 transports players to a modern-day Seattle. You take on the role of an ancient vampire named Phyre, who awakens from a century-long slumber with no memories but a mysterious voice, Fabien, in their head. Together, Phyre and Fabien must uncover a neo-noir murder mystery that threatens to reshape Seattle's entire vampiric society.
Special Editions Revealed
For those eager to dive deeper into the World of Darkness, The Chinese Room has announced two additional digital editions: Deluxe and Premium.
Pre-ordering any version of the game grants players the Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox, an in-game decor item featuring original music from Rik Schaffer, the cult composer behind the first Bloodlines game.
- Deluxe Edition: This edition includes the “Santa Monica Memories” pack, a cosmetic collection of decor items to customize Phyre's in-game apartment. These items pay homage to the original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. This pack will also be available for separate purchase.
- Premium Edition: Building on the Deluxe Edition, the Premium version includes the “Shadows and Silk” expansion. This expansion opens up access to the Lasombra and Toreador clans for the protagonist, each offering unique abilities, playstyles, and distinct outfits. Like the Santa Monica Memories pack, this expansion will also be available to buy separately.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be available on PC (via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will also feature Russian subtitles.
A Long-Awaited Return
