Responding to widespread community feedback about the slow progression in the free battle pass, developers have launched a series of bonus experience point events designed to help players gear up for the next installment in the iconic shooter franchise.
The new initiative comes after the successful launch of update 9.2.0 for Battlefield 2042 on August 18th, which saw a considerable return of players. The development team expressed their appreciation for the renewed passion and positive feedback from the community, recognizing the hard work being valued. With many questions circulating about the specific rewards available for Battlefield 6 and their unlock levels within the free battle pass, the developers decided to not only clarify these items but also expedite the process of acquiring them.
From now until October 7th, Battlefield 2042 will feature weekly double XP events. To provide an even greater boost, the final two weekends leading up to the battle pass conclusion will offer a massive triple XP bonus. This move directly addresses player concerns about potentially missing out on rewards due to a slow grind or missed previous bonus weekends.
