Fantastic Four Arrive in Fortnite on July 25
Get ready for another surge of superhero excitement in Fortnite! This week, all members of Marvel's iconic Fantastic Four team will be making their way to the popular battle royale game. This highly anticipated collaboration coincides with the release of the upcoming film, 'Fantastic Four: First Steps,' and is officially set to begin on July 25.
While Marvel and Epic Games have a long-standing partnership, characters like Reed Richards and his team had not yet appeared in Fortnite, even after last year's event featuring Doctor Doom. Now, Marvel is finally bringing the First Family to the island. Players will soon find outfits for Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ben Grimm (The Thing) in the Fortnite Item Shop.
What to Expect from Each Hero
- Johnny Storm: The Human Torch will feature a special 'Flame!' emote that transforms him into his fiery persona.
- Ben Grimm: The Thing will come with an alternate style for his iconic rocky appearance.
- Mr. Fantastic: Reed Richards, with his incredible flexibility, will use his 'Fantastic Fists' as a unique pickaxe. He also gets a 'Fantastic Calculations' emote.
- Sue Storm: The Invisible Woman will have a built-in pickaxe called 'Psionic Spheres.'
Get Early Access Through the Fantastic Four Cup
For those eager to unlock these new outfits before anyone else, the 'Fantastic Four Cup' is happening on July 23. Top-performing teams in each region will earn the new skins early. Additionally, players who spend 60 minutes in a match will unlock the 'It's Clobberin' Time!' spray, and those who play for 120 minutes will receive the 'Flame!' emoji.
The arrival of the Fantastic Four further expands the vast roster of Marvel heroes and villains available in Fortnite, offering players new ways to express themselves and embrace their favorite comic book characters in the game's ever-evolving world.
