2XKO Cinematic Trailer Highlights Fan-Favorite Champions, Early Access Details Announced

Riot Games has unveiled a brand new cinematic trailer for its highly anticipated fighting game, 2XKO, as the title gears up for its early access launch. The trailer, titled "Ties That Bind," features the powerful vocals of Courtney LaPlante, frontwoman of the heavy metal band Spiritbox, setting an intense tone for the upcoming brawler.

The cinematic puts fan-favorite champions Ahri and Ekko at the forefront, but also offers glimpses of other confirmed characters like Yasuo, Blitzcrank, and Illaoi. In a pleasant surprise for fans, the trailer also debuted Warwick, a character not previously shown in promotional material. Initially, Warwick was not expected to be part of the game's initial roster of ten characters, leading many to believe he would be added post-launch.

However, Riot Games quickly confirmed that Warwick has indeed made it into the starting lineup and will be playable from day one of early access. This brings the total launch roster to eleven characters, much to the delight of the community.

What is 2XKO?

2XKO is a free-to-play fighting game that features a 2v2 combat system, pitting iconic characters from the League of Legends universe against each other. Players can expect dynamic tag-team battles and a rich roster of champions, each bringing their unique abilities and fighting styles to the arena.

Early Access and Platform Availability

The early access phase for 2XKO is set to kick off tomorrow, October 7th, at 6:00 PM Moscow Time (3:00 PM UTC) on PC. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players will have to wait a bit longer, as the full release of 2XKO will mark its debut on these console platforms. This early access period allows PC players to jump into the action and provide valuable feedback to the developers ahead of the game's full launch across all announced platforms.

The inclusion of Warwick in the early access roster is a fantastic bonus for players, ensuring a more diverse selection of champions right from the start. As 2XKO steps into early access, players can look forward to diving into the world of Runeterra in a whole new way, experiencing intense 2v2 tag-team combat with their favorite League of Legends heroes.
