Fans of the action RPG Titan Quest II, currently in early access, have a reason to celebrate. Developer Grimlore Games, with support from publisher THQ Nordic, has just rolled out the first significant content update for the game, titled “The Northern Beaches.” This highly anticipated patch opens up the second chapter of the game, bringing a host of new features and challenges for players.

Released nearly two months after the early access debut of Titan Quest II in early August, this update introduces players to the mythical Northern Beaches. These treacherous coastlines are described as places where “legends crave to snatch away lost adventurers, and mortals dare not take a single step.” Adventurers brave enough to venture into this new zone will discover fresh quests, formidable new enemies, and epic boss encounters.

• New Chapter: Players can now dive into Chapter 2, exploring the dangerous and legendary Northern Beaches.
• Fourth Mastery Tier: All playable characters gain access to a fourth mastery tier, unlocking powerful new active and passive abilities.
• Increased Level Cap: The maximum hero level has been raised to 45, allowing for further character progression.
