To play cooperatively using this mod, players need to set up their own local server and input its parameters into a configuration file. However, 'SilklessCoop' is known to encounter crashes and stability issues, leading many users to prefer a more recent alternative.
This alternative is the 'Silksong Steam multiplayer mod,' developed by Chinese enthusiast XvX. This mod leverages Valve's own online services, resulting in a much more stable connection for players.
