Delta Force Kicks Off “Fiery Battle” Season with Massive Content Update

Delta Force Unveils “Fiery Battle” Season with Major Global Update

The creators of the latest Delta Force, Chinese studio Team Jade, have just rolled out a significant global content update, officially launching the game's new season, “Fiery Battle.” To mark the occasion, players can enjoy both a cinematic trailer and an in-depth overview trailer, showcasing the wealth of new features and tactical opportunities now available.

Introducing New Operative: Landon Harrison, Codename “Lizard”

Leading the charge in this update is Landon Harrison, a new scout operative with the callsign “Lizard.” Harrison brings a unique set of skills to the battlefield, designed to give players a crucial advantage:

  • Special Feature – “Tracker”: In “Battle” mode, players controlling Harrison will see the edges of their screen light up when an enemy targets them. Furthermore, upon detecting an enemy, Harrison can instantly direct his drone’s camera towards their location. In “Operations” mode, this feature allows him to see enemy tracks left behind for a certain period. Scanning these tracks or open containers provides Harrison with vital intel on enemy operatives, their gear, and current whereabouts.
  • Tactical Gear – Drone Wing Camera: This spy camera can be activated to mark enemy positions every 3 seconds. However, caution is advised: if an enemy destroys the camera, Harrison’s own location will be revealed.
  • Device 1 – Silver Wing: Harrison deploys a controllable camera drone that marks enemies within a 90-meter radius. This drone is also capable of carrying and dropping EMP grenades. In its self-destruct mode, the drone can dive towards enemies and explode, dealing minor damage.
  • Device 2 – EMP Grenade: This powerful grenade disables enemy electronic equipment, including certain weapon attachments and sights, disrupting their combat effectiveness.

New Battlegrounds and Thrilling Game Modes

“Fiery Battle” also introduces fresh ways to play and new environments to master:

  • New Map for “Battle” Mode – Rift: Explore the ruins of a once-vibrant city. This map features challenging, uneven terrain, offering multi-level urban alleyways and surrounding canyons that promise dynamic engagements.
  • New Mode – Team Deathmatch: Dive into fast-paced matches with up to 16 players, where the objective is simple: get the most kills within the allotted time. This mode streamlines the action by removing features like teammate rescues, respawn beacons, and some support elements. Players can quickly respawn or return to the deployment screen to change operatives and weapons. Currently, Team Deathmatch is available on six maps: Shattered Lands, Ascent, Limit, Trenches, Rail Crash, and Knife Edge.
  • New Mode – Air Superiority: Test your piloting skills in aerial combat. Players must control various air vehicles to capture strategic strongholds across the map.

Expanded Operations and System Overhauls

The update also brings significant changes and additions to the game's broader systems and “Operations” mode:

  • Special Event – Layali Grove: Forest Fire: In “Operations” mode, players are tasked with investigating the cause of a massive forest fire rumored to have been started by the Ah-Sarah guard.
  • New Tasks on Tidal Prison Map – “Crow” and “Star Killer”: Players will face new choices, siding either with Warden Grot or Crow, who control the guards and prisoners, respectively.
  • New System in “Operations” – Loot Rights: A new system determines who has the right to claim loot. Rights are now based on enemy eliminations and assists. Other players can only take loot with the owner's permission, though squad loot sharing is enabled by default.
  • Updated Seasonal Missions System: Seasonal missions have been restructured into three distinct categories: “Operational Directive,” “Collector,” and “Fateful Contract.” Detailed information on their specific features can be found in the comprehensive patch notes.

New Arsenal and Vehicle Power

Players can also look forward to an expanded collection of weaponry and vehicles:

  • New Vehicle – F-45A High-Maneuverability Multi-Role Fighter: This advanced fighter jet comes equipped with autocannons, air-to-air, and air-to-ground missiles, along with other powerful armaments. Additionally, developers have prepared new modifications for the existing attack helicopter and assault boat.
  • New Weapons: Two new firearms join the roster: the Marlin lever-action rifle and the formidable MK47 battle rifle.
  • New Attachments: Customize your loadout with new options, including the 1P-33x2/4 sight, a modular AR rear grip, the FFC dual-flow muzzle brake, a JAD underbarrel laser, and the “Assassin” premium barrel for the AS “Val.”

Gameplay Enhancements and Accessibility

Beyond the headline features, the “Fiery Battle” update includes a host of general gameplay improvements, a global rebalancing pass, and numerous bug fixes to ensure a smoother, more polished experience for all players.

Delta Force is currently available across a wide range of platforms, including PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and its own dedicated client), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android, with full text localization available in Russian.
