Developers Tiny Bull and publisher DON’T NOD have officially announced the release date for their upcoming top-down action RPG, The Lonesome Guild. Players can dive into this vibrant adventure on PC and consoles starting October 23.
The game promises a unique experience centered around the power of human connection. As described on its Steam page, "In a world shrouded by loneliness, only friendship can help. Lead a quirky team in this colorful single-player action RPG where courage, battles, and bonds change everything."
The story follows a protagonist known only as the Ghost, a spirit who has lost their memories. A mysterious fog of loneliness is consuming the world of Etera, and the only way to combat its spread is to assemble a diverse team of heroes. These characters, who meet for the first time, must forge an unbreakable unity, as their bond will be the key to saving Etera.
Dynamic Combat and Deep Character Bonds
The Lonesome Guild allows players to seamlessly switch between six distinct characters, each possessing unique abilities crucial for exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving. The relationships within the group are paramount: the stronger their friendship, the more powerful new combo attacks and skills become. Gatherings around the campfire serve as opportunities to unlock additional quests, engage in heartwarming dialogues, and discover new strengths for the guild.
The game offers three difficulty levels and features dynamic battles where players can change heroes on the fly to combine attacks effectively.
