inZOI Confirmed for PlayStation 5 Release in Early 2026

inZOI Arrives on PlayStation 5 in Early 2026, Xbox Version Under Consideration

KRAFTON and inZOI Studio have officially announced that their highly anticipated life simulation game, inZOI, is set to launch on PlayStation 5 in early 2026. Players eager to dive into this new virtual world can already add the game to their wishlists on the PlayStation Store, ensuring they’re notified as soon as more details emerge.

While the exact release date remains under wraps, the development team shared their commitment to delivering a polished experience for console players. In a statement, inZOI Studio confirmed: "We are pleased to announce that inZOI is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 in early 2026. Our team is working diligently to bring you the best gaming experience on PS5."

The studio also addressed the possibility of an Xbox Series port, stating that a release on Microsoft's console is "being considered" but is not yet confirmed. This indicates that while PlayStation 5 is the primary console focus for now, inZOI could potentially expand to other platforms in the future.

Upcoming Content and Wider Reach

Currently, inZOI is available in Early Access on PC via Steam, having launched there in late March. However, PC players won't have to wait until 2026 for new content. The game’s first free DLC, "Island Getaway," is slated for release on August 20th. This expansion will introduce a brand-new tropical region named Kahaya, divided into two distinct islands, offering players new environments to explore and stories to create.

Alongside the "Island Getaway" DLC, inZOI will also be making its debut on MacOS, further broadening its reach to a wider audience of life sim enthusiasts. The full PC release of inZOI is expected to arrive next year, seemingly coinciding with its PlayStation 5 launch, allowing a simultaneous full launch across multiple platforms.

This expansion to PlayStation 5 and MacOS, coupled with the ongoing development on PC, signals KRAFTON and inZOI Studio's ambition to make inZOI a prominent title in the life simulation genre. For console players, this news means a major new contender is on the horizon, promising a fresh take on virtual living with its detailed simulation and creative freedom.
