PlayStation Plus subscribers, mark your calendars! Sony has announced the list of games that will be leaving the service's Game Catalog next month. Starting September 16th, eight titles will no longer be available, giving players just a few weeks to dive into them.
Games Leaving PlayStation Plus in September
This upcoming removal list is a bit shorter than previous months, with eight games departing instead of the fourteen seen recently. Among the notable titles making their exit is the anticipated indie adventure, The Plucky Squire, alongside popular fighting game UFC 5.
- UFC 5 (PS5)
- The Plucky Squire (PS5)
- Night in the Woods (PS5, PS4)
- Road 96 (PS5, PS4)
- Pistol Whip (PS VR2)
- Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir (PS4)
- F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch (PS5, PS4)
- Dragon’s Crown Pro (PS4)
What This Means for Players
For those who've been meaning to try any of these games, now is the time to download and play them before they are removed from the Game Catalog on September 16th. Once a game leaves the service, it can no longer be played as part of your subscription unless purchased separately.
While we say goodbye to these eight titles, PlayStation Plus members can look forward to new additions. Sony typically reveals the fresh lineup of games for all PlayStation Plus tiers in the days leading up to the new month. Keep an eye out for that announcement soon!
