Bounty Star Mech Action Game Blasts Off This October

Bounty Star Set for October 23 Release

Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer DINOGOD have officially announced the release date for their upcoming mech action title, Bounty Star. Players can mark their calendars for October 23rd, when the game will launch on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The announcement came alongside a new trailer, building anticipation for this unique blend of mech combat and base management.

A Bounty Hunter's Haunted Past

Bounty Star puts players in the shoes of Clementine, a former soldier whose past has left deep scars. Clementine is not just any soldier; she's a master of close-quarters combat and an expert mech pilot. Now, she navigates the perilous Red Reaches, a harsh, post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest. This desolate landscape is overrun by criminals and monstrous creatures, making it the perfect hunting ground for Clementine, who now works as a bounty hunter.

Unleash the Desert Raptor MKII

At the heart of Bounty Star's combat system is the Desert Raptor MKII, a fully customizable combat mech that players will pilot. This powerful machine can be equipped in various ways to suit different playstyles. For devastating close-range assaults, players can outfit it with crushing melee weapons or a steam-powered hydraulic ram module. For ranged engagements, a variety of firearms and explosive projectiles are available. Defense is equally crucial, with options for boosters, shields, and high-speed engines designed to help players escape being surrounded by enemies.

Building a Home in the Wasteland

Beyond the intense mech battles, Bounty Star offers a deeper layer of gameplay centered around Clementine’s personal sanctuary. Her base of operations begins as a rundown garage, but over time, players will transform it into a functional and comfortable home. This involves managing essential utilities like electricity and water, engaging in farming by raising animals and cultivating plants, cooking meals, and crafting vital supplies such as ammunition and fuel. The stronger and more self-sufficient Clementine’s refuge becomes, the more confident and prepared she will be for the dangerous confrontations awaiting her in the Red Reaches.

Platform Availability

Players eager to experience the power of the Desert Raptor MKII and Clementine’s journey will be able to do so on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It's worth noting for international players that the game’s Steam page does not currently indicate support for Russian localization. This release marks a significant moment for fans of mech combat and atmospheric post-apocalyptic settings, offering a compelling narrative alongside robust gameplay mechanics.
