Code Violet Arrives November 14 on PlayStation 5

Independent game studio TeamKill Media has announced that their new sci-fi action-horror title, Code Violet, will launch on November 14. The game will be an exclusive release for the PlayStation 5. Alongside the release date confirmation, TeamKill Media has also unveiled a new trailer featuring fresh gameplay footage, giving players a closer look at the terrifying world they're about to enter.

A Bleak Future: Story and Setting

Code Violet transports players to the 25th century, a time when humanity has been forced to abandon a ravaged Earth and relocate to the distant planet Trappist 1-E. However, the move didn't end their struggles. The new colonies face a dire crisis: widespread infertility. In a desperate bid to save humanity, an extreme solution is devised: advanced time travel technology is used to abduct women from the past, bringing them to the future to serve as surrogate mothers.

Players will step into the shoes of Violet Sinclair, one such woman ripped from her own time. She awakens in the unsettling Aion bio-engineering complex on Trappist 1-E, only to be immediately confronted by an array of dangers, including ancient, prehistoric beasts and mysterious, hostile forces. Thrust into this nightmarish situation, Violet must use every available means to survive and confront her abductors, uncovering the dark secrets of her new reality.

Pre-Order Information

For those eager to dive into Code Violet's chilling narrative, pre-orders are already open on the PlayStation Store. TeamKill Media is offering two distinct editions:

  • Standard Edition: Priced at $49.99 USD.
  • Deluxe Edition: Available for $59.99 USD, this version includes the digital soundtrack and a collection of alternate costumes for the protagonist, Violet.

What This Means for Players

The impending release of Code Violet offers PlayStation 5 owners a unique and unsettling sci-fi horror experience. TeamKill Media's latest project promises a blend of third-person action and survival horror set against a dark, time-bending narrative. With a compelling premise, challenging gameplay, and a focus on survival against impossible odds, Code Violet looks set to deliver a memorable, spine-tingling adventure this November.
