Iconic Heroes Join the Fight in MARVEL Cosmic Invasion

Developers Dotemu and Tribute Games have just released an electrifying new trailer for their upcoming arcade beat 'em up, MARVEL Cosmic Invasion. This latest reveal introduces two highly anticipated playable characters: the Silver Surfer and Beta Ray Bill, expanding the game’s already impressive roster of Marvel heroes ready to take on cosmic threats.

Meet the New Cosmic Combatants

The trailer offers a first look at how these iconic characters will play in the fast-paced brawler:

  • Silver Surfer: Once a herald for the infamous Galactus, the Silver Surfer is known for his incredible cosmic power and ability to effortlessly glide over the battlefield. In MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, he’ll harness the Power Cosmic to stun and dismantle enemy forces, bringing his unique blend of speed and energy attacks to the fight.
  • Beta Ray Bill: A formidable cyborg from the Korbinite race, Beta Ray Bill is a recognized ally of Thor himself, wielding his own mighty hammer, Stormbreaker. Players can expect Beta Ray Bill to be a powerhouse, using his immense strength and his powerful weapon to smash through waves of foes with ease.

A Star-Studded Voice Cast

Beyond new characters, Tribute Games also announced that MARVEL Cosmic Invasion will feature full voice acting for all heroes, including the main characters in the story campaign. This will add a significant layer of immersion for players. The confirmed voice cast includes several familiar names from the world of video games and animation:

  • Brian Bloom: Lending his voice to Captain America and Silver Surfer.
  • Steve Blum: Voicing Venom and Beta Ray Bill.
  • Trevor Devall: As Rocket Raccoon.
  • Cal Dodd: Reprising his classic role as Wolverine.
  • Josh Keaton: Voicing Spider-Man.
  • Matt Mercer: As Nova and the villain Annihilus.
  • Aileen Mythen: Voicing Phyla-Vell.
  • Elysia Rotaru: As She-Hulk.
  • Alison Sealy-Smith: Voicing Storm.

The developers have hinted that this isn’t the complete list, with more voice actors expected to be announced closer to the game’s release.
