Elden Ring: Nightreign Set to Receive Official Two-Player Co-op
Players of Elden Ring: Nightreign will soon be able to team up with a friend, as official two-player cooperative play is set to arrive on July 30th. This highly anticipated feature comes in response to strong community feedback since the game's launch, where many expressed disappointment that the initial release only offered three-player co-op or solo play.
The upcoming two-player co-op mode will be included as part of update 1.02. Beyond the new cooperative option, this patch will also introduce several quality-of-life improvements, including minor user interface enhancements and more filters for relics, making item management smoother for players.
The developers are not stopping there with content updates for Nightreign. Looking ahead, an additional batch of enhanced bosses is slated to be introduced on July 31st, just one day after the co-op update. Furthermore, the fourth quarter of this year is expected to bring even more fresh content, with plans for new bosses and additional playable characters to join the game's roster.
Elden Ring: Nightreign is currently available on PC via Steam, PlayStation consoles, and Xbox consoles, offering text localization in Russian. The addition of two-player co-op addresses a major point of criticism from players and is expected to significantly enhance the gameplay experience, offering more flexibility for those who prefer to explore the world with a single trusted ally.
