Ravenswatch Receives Expansive 'Hourglass of Dreams' Update

Fans of the cooperative roguelike Ravenswatch can dive into a wealth of new free content with the recently released 'Hourglass of Dreams' global update. Developed by Passtech Games, Ravenswatch tasks players with controlling fairy tale heroes who must team up to fight nightmare creatures and save the dream world from impending doom.

This latest update brings several exciting additions and changes to the game:

• New 'Hourglass of Dreams' Mechanic: Players can now activate this new feature at the Sandman. Activating it challenges players to complete a map quickly. If they reach the boss in under the standard 18 minutes, they’ll receive more valuable rewards. Importantly, the forced teleport to the boss at the 18-minute mark has been removed. Players can choose to continue exploring and collecting items after this time, but the boss will become progressively stronger as a trade-off.
• Three New Side Quests:
  • Jack and the Beanstalk: Help Jack find the Magic Bean to reach safety in the clouds. Players must protect Jack, especially from a new mini-boss: the Sky Ogre.
  • Sindbad and the Roc: Escort Sindbad through a monster-infested cave as he collects diamonds. To help Sindbad leave the island, players must defeat and tame a new mini-boss, a giant bird.
  • Mordred and the Crown: Navigate the Catacombs of Avalon to reach Morgana. Players will need to confront Mordred, who has seized King Arthur’s crown and threatens to destroy it.
• New Activity: Heroes must now battle waves of nightmares emerging from a Leprechaun's Pot.
• Expanded Location Variety: Three new camps have been added to each of the Dark Hills, Storm Island, and Avalon maps, offering more diverse exploration.
• New Steam Achievements: Players can now unlock additional achievements.
• Balance Adjustments: Various gameplay balance changes have been implemented to refine the overall experience.

Alongside the free content, the developers have also released a new cosmetic DLC called the 'Timeless Skin Pack,' which offers new outfits for the game's playable characters.

Ravenswatch is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The game supports cross-platform cooperative play and includes text localization for various languages.
