Stellar Blade Receives New Patch with Key Fixes and Improvements for PC and PS5

Stellar Blade Gets Fresh Update on PC and PS5

Stellar Blade, the acclaimed action title, has just rolled out a fresh update for both its PC and PlayStation 5 versions. This new patch aims to iron out several reported issues and enhance the overall player experience, addressing various bugs across different aspects of the game.

General Fixes for Both Platforms

Players on both platforms will notice several shared improvements. A frustrating bug that prevented players from exiting Clyde's shop after purchasing polarized glasses has been resolved, allowing for smoother progression. The in-game Photo Mode also sees a welcome enhancement; now, when selecting the logo, a control indicator is displayed, making it easier to customize your shots. Furthermore, an issue causing Eve's arm to appear unnaturally in Photo Mode when wearing the 'Black Pearl' and 'Red Pearl' costumes has been corrected, ensuring a more polished visual.

PC-Specific Enhancements

PC players receive a set of targeted fixes. Enabling FSR frame generation now correctly requires a game restart, standardizing the activation process. A critical bug where pressing Numpad keys to activate skills in the training room would cause the training system to malfunction has been eliminated, ensuring uninterrupted practice. The zoom function within the hair salon menu should now respond accurately to inputs. Another quality-of-life fix addresses an issue where new items wouldn't appear immediately in the shop after increasing affinity levels. Lastly, the game's save system has been refined: the time elapsed since the last save will now only count from a successful save action, rather than from a save attempt, providing more accurate information.

PlayStation 5 Combat Improvement

PlayStation 5 players also get a key fix for combat. A bug that caused the camera to shift to an unusual position during the Demogorgon boss fight, making aiming impossible when ranged auto-aim was disabled, has been successfully resolved. This should make the challenging encounter fairer and more manageable.

What This Means for Players

This latest update demonstrates the continued commitment to refining Stellar Blade. By addressing these various bugs and small inconveniences, the development team is ensuring that players on both PC and PS5 can enjoy a more stable, visually consistent, and frustration-free experience. These kinds of patches are vital for long-term player satisfaction, showing dedication to the game's community.
