Humble Games and Bossa Studios, the team behind the quirky hit Surgeon Simulator, have announced that their aerial co-op survival adventure, Lost Skies, will officially launch its 1.0 version on Steam. Players can look forward to diving into the full experience on September 17th.
Lost Skies invites players to explore a world composed of expansive, floating islands, where traversal is key to survival. The game also supports online co-op for up to six players, encouraging teamwork in its vast, open world.
The journey through Early Access has been a productive one for the developers, with numerous significant updates and improvements made based on player feedback. Bossa Studios highlights several key achievements during this period:
- Player-Generated Worlds: The game now features extensive island creation tools, leading to dozens of unique, player-designed locations populating the world of Lost Skies.
- Enhanced Customization: Players can now fully customize their airships and control schemes, offering greater flexibility and personal expression.
- New Content Galore: Early Access saw the introduction of a wealth of new content, including additional weapons, airship components, challenging boss battles, new regions to explore, intricate puzzles, a functional map table, and a much-improved inventory system.
- Polish and Stability: A major focus has been on squashing bugs and enhancing the overall quality of life, ensuring a stable and smooth experience for the 1.0 release.
With a full launch date now set, Lost Skies aims to deliver a refined and feature-rich survival experience that benefits from its time in Early Access. The game also includes full Russian text localization, making it accessible to a wider audience.
