Fruit Mountain Party Heads to Early Access This August
Get ready for some fruity, competitive fun! Developer BeXide has announced that their multiplayer 3D puzzle game, Fruit Mountain Party, will launch in Early Access on Steam on August 28. This new title builds upon the foundation of the popular Fruit Mountain game, bringing its unique fruit-combining mechanics into a more competitive environment.
The initial Early Access version of Fruit Mountain Party will feature the core gameplay mechanics, including both a single-player mode and multiplayer battles. The developers plan for the game to remain in Early Access for approximately three months. During this period, BeXide intends to expand the single-player content, introduce new settings, refine the PvP mode, and implement changes based on player feedback.
For those unfamiliar, Fruit Mountain Party is a continuation of the original Fruit Mountain concept, where the main goal is to strategically combine identical fruits to make them grow larger. However, this new iteration places a strong emphasis on competitive play. Players can jump into online or local matches with friends, experiencing various PvP modes. These range from intense, timed challenges to chaotic battles featuring special items and unexpected twists.
Key Features to Expect in Early Access:
- Online battles supporting up to four players, each with unique rules and play styles.
- A single-player mode with leaderboards, allowing players to compete for the highest scores.
- Simple, intuitive controls: just drop and stack fruits onto a plate, combining identical ones to create bigger fruits.
- The game ends if any fruits fall off the plate.
- Earn significantly more points by creating combos and chains of fruit merges.
BeXide stresses the importance of community feedback in shaping Fruit Mountain Party. Player input will be crucial for balancing gameplay, refining rules, and developing new content. The team is committed to adding and adjusting features based on what the community wants, aiming to make the game as engaging as possible.
While Fruit Mountain Party will initially be available exclusively on PC via Steam, there’s a strong possibility that it may expand to other platforms in the future. Players in Russia will be pleased to know that text localization in Russian will be available from day one of Early Access. Get ready to stack, combine, and compete when Fruit Mountain Party arrives on August 28!
